JVP's strategic support for Maithri

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) sources report that they are to extend 'strategic support' to the common candidate Maithripala Sirisena at the presidential election.

JVP which stated that President Mahinda Rajapaksa has no legal right to contest at the
election for the third time, has stated that they will do everything in their capacity to defeat him.
