SL conceived cricketer kicks the bucket in the wake of getting lethal hit to midsection

Bavalan Pathmanathan (24), a Sri Lankan conceived English cricketer, kicked the bucket in the wake of being hit by the ball in his midsection, while playing in the British Tamil League, on Sunday.

The episode happened while he was batting for Manipay Parish SC-Blue, a division three club in Surrey. When he got hit, air rescue vehicle specialists hurried to the spot, treated him and took him to the healing center, however he kicked the bucket of the wounds.

The Manipay Parish SC, in an announcement, communicated their sympathy:

"His less than ideal misfortune has left a staggering impact on our part clubs and on our cricket group overall. We might want to express our true sympathies to the individuals from his family and companions."

"Our cricketer Bavalan Pathmanathan is no more with us. He was hit by the ball on his midsection while batting. Our club is completely stunned by his demise at this youthful age."

Bavalan, who is of Sri Lankan Tamil plunge, was conceived in Point Pedro (Paruthithurai), Sri Lanka, and later moved to England.

This is the third time in the previous one year that a cricketer has lost his life on field.

Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes (25) kicked the bucket last November in the wake of being hit in the neck by an extraordinary bouncer, and previous Bengal U-19 chief, Ankit Keshri, passed on in April in the wake of slamming into a kindred defender.
