"Mystery" desert safari murders Sri Lankan Airlines stewardess

A Sri Lankan aerial transports flight stewardess met with a sad demise yesterday (January 30) preceding she was to prepare to leave the plane on a flight from Qatar to Colombo.

She had been on a 'desert safari' outing when the jeep she was going in had toppled, slaughtering her.

The unidentified stewardess (20) and was with six others in the jeep.


One of them was the wife of the Air Force pilot who was murdered in an air-crash at Hokandara last December.

She endured a cracked arm and is said to be out of threat.

The trip they made was said to have been unapproved.
