Mervyn, Jeewan pack up?

Minister Wimal Weerawansa's 'Lanka C News' website reports that ministers Mervyn Silva and Jeewan Kumaratunga have removed their personal belongings from their ministerial offices.

Attempts to contact minister Jeewan Kumaratunga on the matter were unsuccessful.

On inquiring from the common candidate's election office, a spokesperson said that several ministers are to quit the government in the next few days to support Maithripala Sirisena.


However, the spokesperson declined to comment with regard to ministers Mervyn Silva and Jeewan Kumaratunga in particular.
