The price of a 12.5kg domestic LP gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 250 with effect from midnight today (Dec 6), the Minister of Co-operatives and Internal Trade Johnston Fernando said.
Therefore the new price of a 12.5kg domestic LP gas cylinder will be Rs 1896.
The government yesterday (5) reduced the price of petrol and diesel
by Rs 7 per litre while kerosene price was slashed by Rs 5 per litre.
